Hi Andrew,

What an awesome and inspirational challenge! good luck with the preparations!

I'd be very interested to learn more about how you plan a trip like this (finding the best roads to cycle on, places to stay, nutrition, etc). Also about your training for this. Perhaps you could write some blog posts on that.

I live in Europe (Netherlands) so if I can help from here then please let me know.

Cheers,

Corran

Hi Andrew,

I attempted a round the world cycle trip starting in Bangkok last year. I made it about 15,000km but was hit by a truck in the U.S and had to stop. I was lucky to survive and now enjoy watching others. I was on a solo tour and doing about 100 km/day so you would have flown past if we met on the road.

There is another attempt at the RTW record going on right now, I believe he is on Day 13 or so, I will be watching both of you.

I am living in the Philippines now so not on your route but I will be following. It looks like you have a solid background to get this record so I hope everything goes smoothly.

Keep safe.
