Andrew's Ride

  • Begins on August 12th 2015 in Auckland
  • The flight to Vancouver, Canada is the first transit leg
  • The Rocky Mountains are the first riding stage
  • 23 countries will be visited
  • To break the record, Andrew must average 240km each day

The Rules

The Rider must:
  • start and finish in the same place
  • cover 28,970 kilometers by bike in an East to West or West to East direction
  • complete a total distance of at least 40,075km (including transit by air or sea)
  • not waver more than 5 degrees off course
  • pass at least 2 antipodal points
